Automating to Enhance Productivity

Our client partnered with us to optimize their human workforce by automating their monthly account reconciliation process and accelerating their close. With the goal of increasing productivity and improving accuracy, we designed and developed a workforce that can automate thousands of reconciliations per month. We did this by designing a robotic process automation, or RPA, solution to tackle manual and repetitive tasks. We also identified other workflows that could be automated, optimized and standardized. Through this process, we were able to increase account reconciliation from 50% to 95%, which also increased accuracy and increased capacity for accountants to engage in more valuable analysis work. We also were able to reduce time to complete month-end reconciliation by reconciling over 4,000 accounts in less than half a day.
