New Data Portal Enhances Organ Transplant Outcomes

The United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) is a non-profit organization that administers the only organ transplant system in the nation. UNOS also provides data services for its members, which include transplant centers, Organ Procurement Organizations and Histocompatibility Labs. To better support these institutions, UNOS needed to build a more robust reporting solution with advanced customization features. They commissioned Veracity to redesign, develop and implement a new Data Portal application that improved the user experience, as well as provided real-time reporting functionality. The result was an engaging, easy-to-use solution which enabled dynamic reporting, user self-service, notifications and extended the service to external users. In addition, the application was deployed in a scalable architecture that can integrate with existing and future technologies.
