The Challenge

The client required assistance and guidance to implement BlackLine’s Account Reconciliations and Task Management products to reduce the number of days it took to close and to establish a foundation to achieve additional improvements.​

What We Did

  • Implemented Account Reconciliations and Task Management products initially for the centralized Corporate Accounting team​
  • Leveraged our BlackLine implementation experience, as well as leading and industry practices​
  • Provided Project Management assistance to establish a program for continuous improvement​
  • After Corporate implementation was completed, we trained users in Europe as part of a regional rollout​

Our Impact

  • By replacing manual and Excel-based reconciliations, the client was able to immediately shorten their close cycle by 3 days​
  • A continuous implementation program was established and adopted where the client was able to reduce additional time and days from their close processes​
  • In addition to training the European user community on how to use the system, we explained and reinforced the new close processes to ensure on-going saving across regions
