The Challenge
To improve business resiliency and predict operational and IT risks, the Client aimed to enhance visibility into its operational processes and better understand the impact of incidents on mission-critical functions. An enterprise operations function was established to govern this strategic effort, with workstreams for process mapping, business impact assessments, and continuity planning across divisions. RGP provided strategic advisory support, deploying teams with industry expertise to accelerate process modeling and played a key role in defining, developing, and launching an operational intelligence platform that consolidated data for scenario planning and real-time response.

What We Did
RGP deployed a team of experts in operational risk, program management, process modeling, and data analytics to support the Client’s enterprise operations strategy. The team collaborated with leadership to define a business process taxonomy, select ARIS for modeling, and set up governance. They documented critical processes and integrated them with people, technology, and risk data. The data & analytics team built an operational intelligence platform, including dashboards and back-end systems, to enable on-demand reporting on business processes, technology stacks, risks, and contingency plans for better decision-making and operational insight.
