The Challenge

A global agriculture and food processing company faced recurring challenges with their LeaseAccelerator software and supporting processes to produce reliable lease accounting. The company needed a solution to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its lease accounting and enhance ongoing compliance.

What We Did

We assembled a team of experts to analyze and optimize the software’s configuration and lease data. Our approach included:

  • Assessment: We quickly assessed the existing LeaseAccelerator configuration and lease data setups to identify gaps in the current state
  • Process Analysis: We analyzed lease accounting processes and how LeaseAccelerator was used to support their compliance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Roadmap Development: We developed a roadmap to implement changes across the lease accounting compliance program, aiming to improve system use, user training, and the reliability of lease accounting
  • Workshops: We conducted workshops to validate changes and enhance the overall lease accounting user experience

Our Impact

Our partnership with the company extended beyond the initial optimization phase. As part of the post-optimization transition, we were engaged to stay on for another year to make necessary updates, document processes, and train individuals responsible for maintaining the company’s lease accounting and administration activities. With the right team, technology, and processes, we helped the company weave complex elements into a cohesive whole, ensuring sustainable success in a highly complex environment.
