Today, we’re ready to add a Content Strategist to our team. Our Content Strategists work with high-profile clients on large-scale digital transformation efforts overseeing the successful delivery of projects from start to finish. The Content Strategist plays a critical role in managing client relationships, leading cross-functional project teams and ensuring projects are delivering business value to our clients.

 Responsibilities of Role:

  • Conduct and analyze content and user research to identify strategic content needs and critical gaps across user journeys.
  • Conduct audits and analyses to improve existing content and structure.
  • Conduct usability tests, including card sorts, tree jack test, moderated user tests, etc.
  • Gather insights and synthesize outputs from testing and discovery sessions into and actionable strategies.
  • Analyze website content tagging, organization and hierarchy to offer strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Create user flows, wireframes and site maps.
  • Deliver high-quality strategic materials such as user personas and governance materials that include content templates and guidelines to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills in resolving complex cross-functional issues as they relate to content and user experiences.
  • Prioritize feedback on strategic solutions for continuous improvement efforts and future-state roadmaps.
  • Facilitate workshops rooted in the design thinking methodology to discover insights that lead to innovative, modern solutions.
  • Be a storyteller who brings ideas to life, garnering influence, buy-in and adoption across project teams.
  • Design and optimize content layouts that enhance user engagement and accessibility.
  • Work closely with designers and developers to create intuitive site structures and navigation, implementing cohesive design strategies while incorporating an understanding of technology capabilities/limitations.
  • Establish metadata standards and guidelines for tagging and categorizing content.
  • Write change communications, illustrating the benefits of change and upcoming expectations in a simple, concise way.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience creating taxonomies and information architectures
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to distill complex information simply
  • Experience creating personas, user journeys and governance materials
  • Thorough understanding of design-thinking methodologies
  • Advanced research and analytical skills
  • Strong UX/UI background

What We’d Like to See:

  • Strong decision-making abilities and autonomy. Must be able to take strategic findings and make actionable recommendations for improvements.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to the ability to comfortably conduct face-to-face interviews, focus groups and workshops.
  • Ability to identify appropriate methodologies and tasks required to uncover desirable information, as well as a willingness to work with business stakeholders to complete any content-focused research.
  • A flexible, versatile and collaborative approach to project work that is still grounded in methodology and backed by research.
  • Excellent, highly creative communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years writing and/or managing web and mobile content, preferably for interactive user experiences
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Information Systems, Information Architecture, or related field

Base Pay Range $60-$80/hour W2

All compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
