The Challenge

As part of a multi-year journey to finance transformation, the University needed expertise in project management and business process development to implement Workday financials and supply chain.

What We Did

Our experts filled key roles on the university’s medicine and academy teams. We also led workstreams within the Project Management Office (PMO), focusing on process, reporting, data, and testing.

Our contributions included:

  • Key Roles Fulfillment: We provided experts to fill essential positions in the medicine and academy teams, ensuring a well-rounded approach to the implementation
  • Workstream Leadership: We led various workstreams within the PMO, including process development, reporting, data management, and testing, to ensure all aspects of the project were effectively managed

Our Impact

Our efforts resulted in significant improvements and benefits for the university:

  • Rapid Resource Deployment: We rapidly deployed resources to build structure within the program, enabling the development of key deliverables
  • Advisory Whitepapers: We developed advisory whitepapers on data and reporting, which led to crucial decisions about data conversion and data warehouse structure
  • Key Project Skills: We provided resources with essential project skills that were unavailable within the university, helping to create process maps and requirements documentation
